I got a lovely message the other night from a man who is very excited that I switched careers. It said this:

“I’m so glad I dont have to see your ****ing ugly, fat face on tv anymore. Your stupid.”

My first thought was: “IT’S YOU’RE…NOT YOUR!” If you’re going to insult me, try to be grammatically correct.

I realized, I recognized the name of the sender.  He has never been a fan.  He has always been very vocal about his disdain for him.  So my question is this:

“WHY ARE YOU STILL FOLLOWING ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA?!???”

I think he is like many people on social media who “hate-watch.” Kinda like the way I hate-watch my least-favorite football team waiting and praying for them to lose.

Minutes are too valuable in life to spend them wasting your energy on someone you don’t care for.  I don’t get it.  There’s always at LEAST one person who looks for something negative to say on a post or a picture. At LEAST one.  I always want to say, “I’m sorry, is your grass green? Focus on your own lawn first.”

As for me, I’m not on TV anymore so I don’t “technically” have to be polite when someone verbally attacks or insults me.

So sir…since you apparently don’t know how to unfollow or unlike my page…let me do it for you. You are blocked. So now you don’t have to see my ****ing ugly, fat face on social media EITHER anymore.

I was going to say more but then I remembered one of my favorite quotes: “Never sacrifice your class to get even with someone who has none.  Let them have the gutter. You take the high road.”
